Snow Fun!!!

Meilin played in the snow for the first time today. SHE LOVED IT!!!

Late Night Bath!

Meilin is still adjusting to the time here. She naps well and goes to bed at night, she just wakes up ready to play between 12 and 4am. Tonight we decided to get in a lavendar bubble bath to use up some enery and calm her down.

Off to Grandma's

Yes, after being home exactly 1 week we packed up and headed out again. Madison had a Cheer competition and we went to stay at Grandma's. We had a great time! We also were able to celebrate Grandpa's birthday while we were there. Jodie's family was all together for that so everyone got to meet Meilin. Meilin is just happy to go along with the flow of things. She is so outgoing and happy that travelling to Grandma's and another large group of strangers did not bother her one bit.

Meilin is doing FANTASTIC! She is so much fun to be around. She has such an outgoing personality and she is all smiles and giggles.

Chinese Christmas Party

Tonight was our local Families with Children from China Christmas dinner. It was so fun to see everybody. Our group has welcomed 3 new kids this fall, 2 new families.

The rest of the evening was spent playing around with some more Chinese toys.

Day 1 at Home

Luckily Brian, Jodie, and the little girls slept in until 11am. The rest of the day was spent playing, doing laundry, unpacking, and starting Christmas decorating. Decorating with everything else going on????? Madison and Dalton have been begging since we walked in the door.

WELCOME HOME MEILIN!!!

After 5 airports, 4 flights, and a 2 hour drive, we arrived safely home! The girls did FANTASTIC! Katie & Brady and Jeff welcomed us at the final airport. Thanks Jeff for car sitting, battery changing and all! We took time for some dinner at a Mexican restaurant, and then headed on our drive home.

The party was already in progress at our house when we arrived. Several welcome home signs decorated our house inside and out. Grandma, Grandpa, Mark& Jaylynn &kids, Katie & Brady were all there. We took lots of pictures but did not manage to get good photos of everyone.

All the kids had fun showing Meilin her room, teeter totter, toys, playing ring around the rosies, and lots of bubbles. Meilin joined in on all the fun and enjoyed the crowd. Meigan was excited to see Madison (or Bobby as she calls her) and Dalton.
